Home Brew Recipe Kit for our version of Mike's Brewery "OneMorePaleAle" - OMPA. This kit is based on the original recipe kindly provided by Mike's Brewery
NZs Oldest Craft Brewery, started in 1989. This beer is a Mike's Brewery classic it won a Bronze at the Brewers Guild of New Zealand awards in 2015 and a Bronze at the Australian International Beer Awards in 2017.
Tasting Notes:
Colour - Amber
Aroma - Grapefruit and citrus
Carbonation Level - Medium
Bitterness - High
Mouth-feel - Spritzy and lively
Body -Medium
Flavour- Grapefruit and citrus, solid hop flavour and bitterness with lighter high notes
After-taste - Lingering Grapefruit hop flavour and bitterness
IBU: 31 ABV: 5.5% OG: 1.053 FG: 1.011
All ingredients you will need are included in this recipe kit. Malted Grain, Hops, Yeast, Irish Moss and brew water additions. (Malt Extract for Extract Option). Kit includes brewing instructions.
Size: 23 Litres (1/2 Batch option also available).

Hops are all pre-measured for each addition and vac packed in foil bags to make your brew day easier. A combination of Motueka, Pacific Jade and Nelson Sauvin.
Yeast: Safale US-05

- All Grain Half 12L Batch
- Extract with Partial Mash, Full 23L Batch. Comes with Liquid Malt Extract and a specialty grain pack to add additional flavour.
